Neighborhood Research and Historical Perspectives

Mill Creek Valley, The Soul of St. Louis

Ron Fagerstrom, an associate of our office,
recently spent two years researching a forgotten piece
of St. Louis history.  The product of his research is
Mill Creek Valley, A Soul of St. Louis, a book
describing the close knit community that lived in this
neighborhood and the social-political process by which
it came to be destroyed. Mill Creek Valley is located
in midtown, where A.G. Edwards, St. Louis
University and Highway 40-64 are now located.
