Development and preservation can not only co-exist

 Eric Friedman, President of Friedman Group, Ltd., placed the building at 
1900 Pine Street on the National Register of Historic Places. 
Once this was accomplished, the building was restored to its former glory and 
now contributes to the economic vitality of the City of St. Louis by housing 
numerous businesses. The property looks out over Union Station.

2221 Locust Street

Friedman Development is now in the process of 
developing a building at 2221 Locust Street,
in the heart of the Locust Business District.
This building, once home to the Provident Association 
and then the People's Hospital, an African-American 
hospital, was approved by the State of Missouri Historic Panel 
and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
